Projects

Carolyn Van Lang has more than 18 years of experience in architecture. For the last 14 years, she has concentrated on high end residential projects from new homes to addition and complete remodel.
She is well versed in the range of architectural styles from traditional, craftsman to contemporary and modern. Carolyn revels in providing her clients with full scope of services when the need arises from master planning, overall concepts, architecture, interior design, landscape to specifying furniture and window treatments. She feels that a seamless design requires thoughtful consideration in all aspects of the home and her versatility in offering a complete design package is quite unique. Over the years working in the Bay Area, Carolyn has become very familiar with the planning and permit processes of many communities such as Piedmont, Oakland, Berkeley, Contra Costa County and the South Bay.
Among her many creative talents are her sense of space, colors and materials and her skillful detailing. Carolyn loves the elegance that sets a project apart when materials, finishes, colors and textures are brought together in a subtle and harmonious way. Her unmistakable trademarks are the poetic calmness and zen quality that reign throughout her projects.
